Цель статьи: анализ деятельности личного состава пожарной охраны Ленинграда, органов власти по защите населения и города от пожаров.Задачи: достойно оценить на основе архивных и иных источников мужество и героизм бойцов и командиров пожарной охраны, населения города, организаторскую деятельность органов управления в период блокады.Выводы: мужество и героизм защитников блокадного города являются уникальным явлением в истории человечества. Предстоит еще много сделать, чтобы воссоздать полную картину беспримерной борьбы ленинградцев в битве за город на Неве.
