Предметом представленного исследования стала трансформация образов политических лидеров глобального сетевого общества в условиях современной демократии. В статье обобщаются научные работы, основанные на привнесении в политическую науку аналогий из квантовой физики. Основной целью таких аналогий является совершенствование качества научного анализа политических процессов и составления политических прогнозов. Термин «квантовая демократия» возникает в условиях кризиса представительной демократии, отражая высокую степень элитарности политической реальности и социальные разрывы между отдельными индивидами и группами влияния. Глобализация разрушает традиционные социально-политические институты быстрее, чем успевают создаваться новые властные структуры, отвечающие за эффективность политических решений в конкретных странах. Демократические институты трансформируются в соответствии глобальными тенденциями, порождая новый тип экономически обоснованного позиционного господства, совершенствуя «власть номинации» в современном мире. Политические лидеры в условиях квантовой демократии сохранили способность притворять свои решения в жизнь в той степени, в какой эти решения соответствуют состоянию национальной политики. Ограничение власти политических лидеров закономерностями квантовых процессов поставило легитимность в зависимость от тех идеологических позиций, которые объективно сложились как полюса политического спектра.

The subject of the presented research is the transformation of political leader’s authority inside the global network society in modern democracy. Scientifi works and studies based on introduction of some analogies from quantum physics into political science are overviewed in the article. The main purpose of such analogies is to improve the quality of political processes analysis and policy predictions. The term “quantum democracy” is used by the authors in relation to the crisis of democracy, noting the high degree of elitism of modern politics. The waves of globalization are destroying traditional social and political institutions faster than new power structures responsible for an effective policy decisions formed in specifi  countries. Democratic leadership develops in accordance with global trends, creating a new type of economically legitimate positional dominance, developing “legitimate naming” in the modern world.
