В статье рассматривается одно из перспективных направлений развития газовой отрасли — производство сжиженного природного газа. Обосновано, что развитие крупнотоннажного производства СПГ в России является стратегическим приоритетом. Статья содержит результаты OTSW-анализа, где были выявлены возможности, угрозы, сильные и слабые стороны реализации данного стратегического приоритета в России, а также были определены его конкурентные преимущества. Автором формулируются основополагающие элементы стратегии: миссия и видение. Автором также была отмечена важность грамотного использования полученных средств от продажи СПГ в качестве инвестиций в долгосрочное развитие человеческого капитала.

The article considers one of the prospective directions in gas industry — production and consumption of liquefied natural gas. The main goal is to define development of large-capacity liquefied natural gas production in Russia as the strategic priority. The article contains the results of OTSW analysis, which identified the opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of development of this direction in Russia, and also determines the competitive advantages. The author formulates the basic documents of the strategy: mission and vision. Also the author underlines the importance of the adequate use of the funds received from the sale of LNG as an investment in the long-term development of human capital.
