Modern Features of Development of Multimodal Transportation of Goods in International Trade

Abstract

In the article, questions of evolution and applicability of multimodal transportations in international trade are investigated. Problems of efficiency of multimodal transport system and modernization of its three basic elements (commercial practice, administrative requirements and transport infrastructure) are considered. Based on the research conclusions on ways of improvement and development of multimodal transportation of goods are drawn.
