Strategic Talent Development for Creative Economy Enterprises

Abstract

Talent is a long-term competitive advantage for companies in the creative economy. At the same time, talents are one of the most expensive resources that are necessary for the realization of the company’s strategy, so the efficiency of their use depends on the right talent development strategy.

This study presents the results of analyzing effective practices aimed at developing talent within creative economy enterprises.

Objectives: to identify the strategic importance of talent for creative economy enterprises; to strategically analyze the best practices for talent development in the fashion industry.

The article is based on the theory of strategy and strategy methodology developed under the under the scientific supervision of Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Life-time), Dr. Sc. (Econ.) V. L. Kvint.

Results: the strategic role of talents is revealed. Conclusions: without talent strategizing creative economy enterprises are doomed to lack of long-term development.
