A Periodization of Monetary Circulation of Mid-8th - Early 11th centuries in Eastern Europe and the Dynamics of Economic Relationships of the Oldest Russian Squads

Abstract

In the article the author invents a new periodization (chronological system) of Islamic coins circulation in Early Medieval Eastern Europe. The data on changing patterns of typological composition in monetary circulation are considered as a source for investigating the dynamics of economic relationships of the oldest Russian military-trading and princely squads of mid-8th - early 11th centuries.
