Charity and Philanthropy in the Russian Provinces at the Turn of ХIХ-XX Centuries
Abstract
In article on materials of provinces of the European North discusses the features of the main directions and forms of charity in the Russian province. Special attention is paid to the characteristic of participation in charitable work various social a level of provincial society and a role of certain philanthropists and patrons.
